TUNAS NADA DAN SIMFONI

TUNAS (Tunas Nada dan Simfoni), an initiative by Bandung Philharmonic, is inspired by Venezuela’s El Sistema movement. The program provides free musical instruments and orchestral training to underprivileged children, creating opportunities for them to experience the joy of making music together.

By 2019, Bandung Philharmonic had established three community ensembles and plans to expand the program to as many as 100 ensembles within the next decade. The existing ensembles are located at:

• Center SOS Kinderdorf - Lembang

• Center Subang - Subang
